Born in Caracas in 1970, Eduardo Sanabria—known as EDO—is a celebrated cartoonist, illustrator, and pop artist. His satirical works have been featured in major Venezuelan publications and international outlets in the U.S., including Venezuela Business News and Diario Las Américas.
A two-time recipient of the Pedro León Zapata Award and winner of the Gold Pen Prize, EDO is recognized as one of Venezuela’s leading graphic humorists. In 2018, he co-authored Historieta de Venezuela, a critically acclaimed cartoon history of the country.
Since 2008, EDO has transitioned into pop art, with exhibitions across the globe—from Caracas to Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, New York, and Miami—blending his signature humor with vibrant, contemporary aesthetics.
